In 1995 Jimmy Malone, his wife April, and their daughter Angela gave out 3 small scholarships to help 3 deserving students buy college textbooks. What started has a small "onetime" gesture, has turned into a commitment to help as many deserving students as possible attend the college of their choice. In 2009 the Malone's gave out 34 college scholarships. As of 2009, they have given scholarships to over 90 students. Approximately 85% of their scholarship students graduate from college.
